The Royal Orient, as per its name, is inextricably linked with royalty. The Royal Orient is regarded as one of the world's most lavish and luxurious trains. A tour on the Royal Orient takes you to two most colorful and culturally rich states of India, Rajasthan and Gujarat. On its way the train covers some of the most exotic and lustrous destinations comprising of serene lakes, ancient temples, beautiful sea resorts and it also provides you an opportunity to closely monitor the rich wildlife of Rajasthan and Gujarat. This luxury train takes a tour of seven days and nights, which will be a unique and unforgettable experience. The train operates between September to April.

 

Royal Orient itenary

 

Day 01: Departure from Delhi

Day 02: Chittaurgarh / Mahesana (Royal Orient Train)
The first stop is at Chittaurgarh followed by a luncheon treat at the majestic Lake Palace Hotel in Udaipur. The superb Jagdish Temple noted for its elephant-motif carvings; the grand City Palace, which overlooks Pichola Lake and the Garden of the Maids of Honour, are worth seeing.

 

Day 03: Mahesana/Ahmedabad/Sasan Gir
Upon arrival at Mahesana, visit the Sun Temple at Modhera and Rani Ka Vav & Patola weaving centre at Patan and then depart for Ahmedabad. All meals on board the Royal Orient.

 

Day 04: Sasan Gir/Palitana
After breakfast, a visit to the Lion Sanctuary before departing for Delwada to visit the enchanting Ahmedpur Mandvi Beach is exciting. Take an excursion to Diu Fort and St Paul's Church before departing for Palitana. All meals on board the Royal Orient.

 

Day 05: Palitana/Udaipur
Morning at Palitana, the next stop is at Sarkhej, famous for the traditional Vishalla Village. All meals on board the Royal Orient.

 

Day 06: Udaipur/Jaipur
Next stop is Udaipur with an interesting excursion to Ranakpur. After lunch, you can visit the Shilpgram Craft Village and then continue for Jaipur. All meals on board the Royal Orient.

 

Day 07: Jaipur
The capital of Rajasthan is the most colourful city in India, with it's famous pink coloured buildings, museum, observatory, Palace of Winds and the colourful bazaar. Breakfast and lunch on board the train.
